I'll give you one hint. I'm a tall man and usually look like a giraffe in a crowd. Oh yea, by the way... Pete (farthest runner to the right) eventually won this race. I finished in the top 100. The course is right up the street from my home and winds through wooded suburban neighborhoods.

2006 Twin Cities Marathon

Marathon registration is now closed! With your great support, the race filled in record time and we look forward to a spectacular 25th running on October 1st.

This race bib is from the mid 90's and the thumbnail pic is yours truly crossing the finish line on John Ireland Blvd. If you haven't been out to watch the race, I highly recommend you do! When I'm not running it, I like to see the start by the Dome, camp out in a lawn chair by Lake Hariett, and stand across from the St Paul Cathedral to watch the winner blaze down the boulevard to cheers of glory from part of the 200,000+ appreciative spectators.

A man's gotta do.....

.... What a man's gotta do! I started back running again last Thursday and Friday. All part of my "stalk the wild endo's" obsession. Photography and digital imagery just don't give me the same inner peace. This blog will be part training log and part fitness/wellness forum. The posted pics are from the '97 Portland Marathon.
